It’s a Village Thing…
Cindy Cravenho might have said good-bye to her students, her school desk, and her late night/early morning planning sessions -- HOWEVER, she has not retired. She has tossed her overcoat for a Chef Jacket, replaced her marking pen with a sharp knife and has become a Sous Chef @ SHARE, Inc.
As an active participant in SHARE's Guest Chef Program, Cindy decided to "up" her volunteer work. During the fall of 2018 she began to assist Culinary Institute Alumni and SHARE, Inc. Chef James. Volunteering in the Chef's Kitchen on Mondays and Fridays, Chef Cravenho sharpened her knife and culinary skills in our kitchens. Cindy has since filled in for Chef James, assisted Program Director Marianne Bennett in developing Alternative Meal Sources for holidays and weekends, and rumor has it she teaches flamenco dancing on Wednesday nights. Okay -- so we may be kidding about the dancing lessons, but it is not unusual to find Cindy at SHARE, Inc. mid-week...so Thank You, Cindy Cravenho!
